Requirements and Duties 1. GR12 matric certificate with maths. Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics or similar would be an advantage. Forklift licence would be an advantage. Code 10 drivers’ licence will be an advantage. Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehousing environment will be a requirement. Experience on leading a team in a warehousing environment will be an advantage. Knowledge and operation of WMS/SYSPRO systems. Excellent PC skills, particularly Microsoft office, email, Syspro. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with inventory management software and other relevant tools- barcoding experience essential

2.Ensure that goods arriving from suppliers are thoroughly checked and verified. 3. Ensure that goods are GRN’d on time and correctly according to the company policy and procedures. 4. Ensure any that problems relating to supplier delivery, stock variances, quality issues and or quantity issues relating to physical stock received to be flagged with QC, Procurement and the Supply Chain Manager. 5. Coordinate with QC and the buyers for returns and replacements to suppliers. 6. Ensure that fasteners and materials are packed and issued on time to the various production and assembly departments. 7. Review outstanding cost cards daily to ensure the issuing is up to date 8. Flag any backlogs and or delays that could affect the on time issuing to production and assembly departments with the supply chain manager. 9. Effective inventory control - Maintaining precise records of inventory levels. Making sure correct processes are being used when doing stock receipting, Putaway and Issuing. 10. Ensuring accurate stock levels in locations at all times. 11. Ensuring that all inventory is accounted for and stored properly to avoid spoilage or damage. (FIFO) 12. Co-ordinate and conducting regular inventory counts – According to the company Stock take Policy and Procedures. 13. Review SLOB reports – clear stagnant non-moving stock according to the company policy and procures. 14. Ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols. 15. Training and developing team members. 16. Regularly review and update inventory procedures.
