0 Applications We are looking for an experienced Sewing Floor Supervisor to oversee daily sewing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sewing staff, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining quality and safety standards.
Qualifications & Experience
• Grade 12 (Matric) or relevant sewing / vocational qualification
• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience in a sewing or textile factory
• Technical knowledge of different sewing machines and equipment
• Experience with quality control systems will be an advantage
• Speak English. Understand Zulu
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of sewing machine operators and other floor staff to ensure smooth production flow.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure targets are achieved on time and within quality standards.
• Work closely with Production Managers, Quality Control, and Maintenance teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Support adherence to workplace health and safety regulations (including PPE, safe equipment handling, and housekeeping standards).
Working Conditions
• Factory environment with standing and walking for long periods
• Exposure to machine noise and industrial equipment
• Overtime may be required to meet production deadlines
Salary & Benefits
• R7,200 – R7,500 per month
• Sick leave pay
• Overtime pay
